Thank you to everyone who participated in the vote. Members overwhelmingly approved moving forward with the City’s proposal to transition from employee-laundered City-issued uniforms to a City-provided laundry service.
The City has approached FMEF with a proposal to implement a City-provided uniform laundering service. Before determining whether to pursue an agreement with the City, FMEF wants to hear directly from the members who would be impacted. Share your opinion by taking our survey on the proposed uniform laundering service.
Please join us to discuss a proposal that will create uniform laundry services for members if you vote to accept it. A voting link will be provided at the meeting.

Thank you to everyone who cast a vote. The membership rejected the City’s proposed Side Letter of Agreement. This means the current MOU remains in effect, and the City is still obligated to provide the 3% salary increase scheduled for July 2026.
View the City’s complete proposal. We will be holding a membership meeting on 5:30 p.m. Thursday, June 25 to review the City’s proposal, discuss the details, answer questions, and hold a membership vote on whether to accept or reject the proposal.
