
Earlier this week, we notified you that the City Council was scheduled to consider a 7.5% raise for the City Manager. On Tuesday night, the Council approved the increase in a 6–0 vote. Councilmember Phillip Nguyen was absent. While the outcome was not unexpected, it was still deeply disappointing.
The City Council is set to approve a 7.5% raise for the City Manager. Yes, the highest-paid person at City Hall is getting a raise. This comes after tough negotiations with the City, during which our members rejected the original LBFO and ultimately ratified a modified version.
