Negotiations are about to begin. We plan to present our initial bargaining proposal to the City April 2, 2026.
Thank you to all members who completed the negotiations survey. Your BCEA Board and OCEA staff reviewed each survey submitted, and your responses have been turned into concrete proposals that we will bring to the City.
On March 23, our team attended the City of Brea’s financial presentation. We now know the City has retained Liebert Cassidy Whitmore (LCW), a management-side law firm, to negotiate on their behalf.
We are committed to keeping you informed throughout this process. We will share what we can, when we can, without compromising our position or strategy.
