Your BCEA Negotiations Team met with the City to present our opening proposal Thursday, April 2, 2026. Every priority in our proposal came directly from you, your survey responses, your workplace concerns, and your input.
As a reminder, we will share what we can when appropriate and advisable, to avoid compromising our position or strategy.
The City will meet with the Council this week to discuss negotiations. We will return to the table April 16 to hear the City’s counterproposal. Please stay connected and continue to read your emails.
