FMA members,
Thank you all for joining the meeting today to review the City’s offer. Attached you will find the proposed side letter agreement with the terms that we discussed for your review.
As promised, we reached out to our contact at the City to inquire as to whether this deal is dependent on all groups accepting it. They responded that it is not contingent on 100% participation. They also mentioned that if a group does not want to participate, the City may explore other options to achieve the savings.
We are holding a survey for members to either accept or reject the City’s proposal. Please find the link in your email. Voting will close at noon on Friday.
We understand this is a difficult decision with both pros and cons, particularly given the short timeframe for consideration. We are available to answer any additional questions you may have as you evaluate the proposal.
In Solidarity,
Alyse DeCavallas
FMA
