Dear Laguna Niguel member,
Thank you to everyone who joined us for the General Membership Meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 15. As we discussed, we are preparing to negotiate your next contract with the City, and the first step is hearing directly from you.
The 2026 Negotiations Survey is now open. Your OCEA Negotiations Team uses your responses to set our priorities at the table and identify the issues that matter most to you and your co-workers. Completing the survey is the most effective way to make sure your voice is heard during negotiations.
The link to the survey is included in your personal email. The survey will be open until 5:30 p.m. on Sept. 25, to give you and your co-workers enough time to complete it. Your individual responses will remain confidential and will not be shared with the City.
Remember, only OCEA members can vote on ratification of a tentative agreement. If a co-worker has not yet joined OCEA, encourage them to sign up so they have a voice in their next contract.
