OCEA members,
Your OCEA Negotiations Team delivered our initial proposal to the County on Wednesday, May 27, including 26 items covering six bargaining units and nearly 10,000 OCEA-represented County workers.
Our proposal came from you. Your survey responses and workplace priorities shaped every page we handed across the table. Top themes include wages, flexibility, vacancies, inflation, retirement, protections around AI, and more.
After we met with the County, your negotiations team stayed in the room and joined hundreds of OCEA members online—more than 400 attendees over two sessions—as we discussed what happened at the table hours earlier.
