Hey, County of Orange! DO. BETTER.
After minimal discussion in our first meeting, our expectation was for the County to come to negotiations on June 24 with a full response. Instead? They weren’t prepared. They didn’t have time to prepare a full response, instead presenting a repackaged version of their financial presentation. Hey County of Orange! DO. BETTER.

County Negotiations Update: June 18, 2026
At the June 17 meeting, we received the County’s initial proposal. The County rejected most of OCEA’s proposals and offered a tone deaf counterproposal, demonstrating little consideration for County employees. We continue to hold firm on our most important proposals and remain committed to negotiating a fair and equitable contract. Our team is not backing down.
