Dear PCEA member,
Contract negotiations with the City of Placentia began today. Following last year’s challenging negotiations process, we are back at the table working to secure a fair contract that recognizes the contributions of PCEA members.
During today’s meeting, the PCEA negotiations team presented an opening proposal developed from the priorities identified by our membership.
The City will meet in closed session with the City Council tomorrow night, March 17, to discuss our proposals. Our next negotiations session is scheduled for Tuesday, March 24.
We’ll continue to keep members updated as negotiations progress.
