As we approach the holiday season we wanted to share two important updates:
Holiday Closure Hours – CONFIRMED
Despite negotiations remaining unresolved, we’ve confirmed the City will proceed with the holiday closure as planned. You will receive your holiday hours to use during the closure. This was one item we had tentatively agreed upon, and we’re pleased the City is honoring it.
Mediation Update
We’re actively working to schedule mediation with the State Mediation and Conciliation Services. Both sides are exchanging available dates now. Due to the holidays, scheduling may take a bit longer than usual, but we’re pushing to get this done as quickly as possible. Your negotiations team remains committed to securing a fair contract that recognizes your value to the City of Placentia.
We’ll update you as soon as dates are confirmed. In the meantime, we hope you enjoy the holidays knowing those closure hours are secured.
