REMINDER: COUNTY MEMBERSHIP MEETING TODAY Following Presentation of Our Initial Proposals to the County

OCEA members,

This morning your OCEA Negotiations Team is meeting with the County to formally present our initial proposals. By the time you log on to join us for our noon or 5:30 p.m. membership meetings, the information will be fresh, and you will hear directly about what happened at the bargaining table just hours earlier.

Noon or 5:30 p.m. May 27 on Zoom — Check your email for the Zoom link.

GET INVOLVED: JOIN THE UNION ACTION TEAM

Our strength at the table comes from our unity outside the table. The Union Action Team is where active members, workplace leaders, and stewards plug in to help move negotiations forward.

What UAT members do:

  • Support Bargaining: Review proposals, analyze survey data, and keep coworkers informed.
  • Take Action: Mobilize for events, talk to elected officials, show up where it counts.
  • Stay Ahead: Get real-time updates on where negotiations stand.

The UAT meets virtually noon to 12:30 p.m. on the first Thursday of every month. Visit ocea.org/getinvolved to sign up.

We’ve added our April and May UAT meeting videos to the OCEA YouTube channel. Watch them for our most recent updates, and to get up to speed before our membership meeting, at this link.
