Dear OCEA OCAC member,
Recently submitted member concerns and testimonials have clearly established that OC Animal Care staff are unnecessarily struggling with understaffing, high turnover, and confusing/conflicting directives. These are issues that make it difficult or impossible to perform job duties, directly jeopardize worker safety, and interfere with our ability to serve the public.
Specifically, we have also received multiple serious allegations and concerns about Field Services Manager Daniel Ettinger.
It’s time to act.
We request that all OC Animal Care members sign this petition and demand:
- Immediate removal of Daniel Ettinger from any OC Animal Care assignment
- Full Call Center staffing
- Full Field Services staffing
This petition represents the collective voice of OCAC workers and will be delivered directly to the County CEO and OCCR Director.
Check your home email for a link to the petition.
We know there are many issues that need to be addressed at OCAC, but these three actions must be taken immediately as a first step towards improving untenable working conditions.
If you have new or supporting input, let us know. Your individual views and experiences make us collectively stronger. You can also submit information anonymously.
