OCPL members,
At our last LMC meeting, we raised ongoing worker concerns regarding increased workloads and staffing coverage shortfalls. Department management somewhat surprisingly said those concerns had not been raised to their level. We agreed to send out a survey to establish whether these issues are widespread or limited to acute areas.
Your OCPL Labor Management Committee stewards need your responses to this survey to capture what workload and staffing coverage feel like day to day. Regardless of whether you are struggling or unaffected, we want an accurate picture from you and other members on the ground.
We’ll present the survey results at our next LMC meeting in August.
Here’s how our survey works:
- Only LMC stewards will see your name.
- Your honest responses will provide us with a clear picture of how it feels in the workplace right now.
- We’ll share responses anonymously with management so we can discuss them directly.
The more responses, the better we can communicate a clear picture of the current working conditions at OCPL.
