Voice of OC: Santa Ana Voters will decide in June on district elections

Santa Ana voters are on track to decide in June whether to transform their city’s election system to district-based City Council elections, after council members narrowly voted this week to place a measure on the June primary ballot.

The U.S. Department of Labor has charged Makan Delrahim and his managers with cheating some 700 workers at a dozen of his facilities in Orange, Los Angeles, San Bernardino and Ventura counties over a five-year period, failing to pay minimum wage and overtime.
