Most real estate owners in Orange County will see a 2% increase in their property tax bills due next December and April, the third straight year that assessments will increase by the maximum amount allowed under Prop. 13, the Orange County Assessor’s Office has announced.

OC Register: FTC fines Facebook $5 billion, adds limited oversight on privacy

Federal regulators have fined Facebook $5 billion for privacy violations and are instituting new oversight and restrictions on its business. But they are only holding CEO Mark Zuckerberg personally responsible in a limited fashion.
