OC Register: Mosquitoes carrying rare encephalitis virus discovered in Westminster, Anaheim

Saint Louis encephalitis, or SLE, is a viral disease spread by the bite of an infected mosquito, but most people who come down with the virus will experience no apparent illness, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

The LA Angels of Anaheim have spent nearly $30 million the stadium over the past seven years, but only a fraction of that spending was for normal wear and tear maintenance, and more than half of the money was used on items that benefit the team like a scoreboard.

The Viewpoint system, which rolled out earlier this month, lets users report noisy flights or other issues from a smartphone or computer through its portal, which sends them to the airport’s noise and operations management system.

Currently, California’s minimum hourly wage is $12 and will rise to $15 by Jan. 1, 2022. Orange will incrementally raise its minimum wage to the $15 mark over the next two years.

People on the streets of New Orleans fled for their lives on Saturday as part of the Hard Rock hotel collapsed onto the street. As pedestrians fled, nearly 100 workers were trapped or injured in the structure. 30 would end up going to the hospital, 3 were found dead.
