As of Tuesday night, Anaheim had nearly 20 percent of OC’s roughly 10,800 cases. Although it’s OC’s largest city, it makes up just over 11 percent of the roughly 3.2 million people living in the County.
OC Register: Disneyland cast members plan protest Saturday against reopening theme park on July 17
Disneyland has been closed since mid-March because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Disney has proposed reopening the Disneyland and Disney California Adventure theme parks on July 17 pending government approval.

In a policy change this week, Orange County officials are now reading aloud public comments submitted by email from residents who say they have a disability and request their comments be read aloud. The move opens up a new way for residents to weigh in on policy issues during the pandemic.

Associated Press: Some states break virus records as U.S. caseload grows anew
After trending downward for six weeks, the U.S. caseload has been growing again for over a week, particularly in the South and West. Some 34,700 new cases were reported nationwide Tuesday, according to the count kept by Johns Hopkins University.
