Over 11% of Orange County residents have already had the coronavirus, but it’s hit the Latino community and working-class residents especially hard, according to a study released by UC Irvine researchers Wednesday.

OC Register: Amazon buys old Register printing plant for $63.2 million
The online retailer plans to demolish the old printing plant warehouse and build a 112,485-square-foot “last mile” distribution center serving Orange County.
Daily Pilot: OC Public Libraries launches program to boost internet access in underprivileged communities
A trailer with a 32-foot antenna will be parked in pre-planned locations in Midway City and Westminster to provide internet access for up to 150 users within a 300-yard radius. The pilot program will expand to San Juan Capistrano, Stanton, La Habra and La Palma in the next few months.

Several fair housing organizations accused Redfin of systematic racial discrimination in a lawsuit Thursday, saying the online real estate broker offers fewer services to homebuyers and sellers in minority communities — a type of digital redlining that has depressed home values and exacerbated historic injustice in the housing market.
