Voice of OC: More than 1 million ballots cast in Orange County with Election Day tomorrow

More than half of registered voters have cast their ballots in Orange County one day ahead of Election Day. A cumulative 1.01 million ballots have been cast by mail or in-person, as vote centers opened Friday. The county has 1.771 million registered voters.

Bureau of Labor Statistics data shows that the L.A.-O.C. region’s unemployment rate soared 9.7 percentage points to 13.6% in the year ended in September. Of 51 large metros ranked, only Las Vegas had a larger increase.
