Santa Ana organizers and volunteers created the In’Lakesh Relief Fund, a mutual aid-themed program that launched in April and has since received around 4,000 applications from those struggling to get by in Santa Ana and in other parts of Orange County.

OC Register: Hundreds of thousands of customers brace for power shutoffs because of Santa Ana winds
As of 4 p.m. Tuesday, Edison notified about 240,000 customers across eight counties that they are under consideration for a public safety power shutoff, said SCE spokesman David Song. Of those notified, 21,053 are in Orange County, 57,394 are in Riverside County and 59,522 are in San Bernardino County.
