AMEA Contract Ratified

Dear AMEA member,

Your AMEA 2022-2025 MOUs were ratified by a majority of bargaining unit members after two days of voting earlier this week. Your bargaining team fought for a contract that put base-building wages first, weighed toward the front of the agreement to put more money in your pocket as immediately as possible. Wage enhancements include:

• 4.0% general wage increase retroactive to the first full pay period that includes July 1, 2022
• 3.0% general wage increase PLUS 1.0% elimination of employee RHS contribution effective first full pay period that includes July 1, 2023
• 3.5% general wage increase effective first full pay period that includes July 1, 2024

The contract also includes multiple other contract enhancements. 

If you see the members of your AMEA bargaining team in your workplace, please thank them for their incredible work. Their willingness to participate in the process and the expertise they brought to the table are examples of why it's so important to participate in your union.
