Anaheim Part-Time Workers Vote to Join AMEA

Dear AMEA member,

We are thrilled to announce that Part-Time City of Anaheim Employees in 17 job classifications have voted with an overwhelming majority to join the Anaheim Municipal Employees Association!

This is the final result of a process that started in November; one which saw AMEA members reaching out to their part-time co-workers to encourage them to stand together with us. Thank you to everyone who had these important conversations—who answered questions, helped with organizing and got out the vote.

Our strength in numbers is a result of our solidarity, and with AMEA bargaining approaching we look forward to representing even more of the City’s working families at the bargaining table.
