APS LMC Update: Aug. 20, 2024

Dear OCEA member,

Your member-led SSA APS Labor Management Committee met with management representatives Aug. 7 to discuss several workplace issues. As you may know, the LMC serves as a collaborative partnership between OCEA members, OCEA labor relations staff, and APS management. Your LMC representatives are workplace leaders committed to bringing your concerns and recommendations to management. They play a crucial role in facilitating communication between OCEA members and APS managers.

This was the first LMC to focus exclusively on APS issues! The meeting was productive and covered topics including case scheduling, assignment logs, vacation/time off issues, IR responses, Officer of the Day calendaring, and more. The committe members plan to meet again with management in September to follow up on these issues. We will likely meet every other month after that to follow up and bring new items to the table.  We are very excited to announce the APS LMC and want to thank our members for volunteering!
