Ballots for OCERS Retirement Board election arrive this week!
Dear OCEA member,
The OCERS general election begins this week with the arrival of ballots in your mailbox. It's important for the pension security of every member to re-elect OCERS Board member Chris Prevatt. Ballots must be received by the Registrar of Voters by November 2, 2021 at 9 a.m. (not just postmarked).
No postage is needed if you drop your ballot in the mail. Or you can bring your ballot to OCEA. If you are eligible to vote and did not receive a ballot, contact the Registrar of Voters at (714) 567-7600.
Take a moment to listen to a recorded message in support of Chris Prevatt from fellow OCERS Board member Frank Eley. As most of you know Frank was OCEA’s president for many years and is now a County retiree. He knows what retirement security is all about. You can access the message by clicking here.
Chris also serves on the OCERS Board with Adele Tagaloa, a fellow OCEA Board member. Let's re-elect Chris Prevatt and keep this team of working family advocates together. Your coworkers support Chris and so do your union brothers and sisters at the Orange County Labor Federation.
Protect your retirement. Vote for the candidate who stands for ALL workers, not just a select few. Re-elect CHRIS PREVATT!
In Solidarity,
Lezlee Neebe
OCEA President
