Court Workers Appreciation Week & Month - OCEA Celebrates You!

Dear OCEA member,

As you may know, the first week of February marks Court Reporting & Captioning Week nationally, and Court Worker Appreciation Month here at OCEA. I want to take this time to celebrate you for the work you do to ensure a just and fair society for all.

Our nation’s courts, and by virtue, court workers, uphold the pillars of our society. Your public service helps guarantee fair processes and ultimately justice itself. From processing court filings to overseeing courtroom operations to ensuring an accurate record of proceedings, and much more, OCEA Court workers make the courthouse work.

This year’s theme for National Court Reporting & Captioning Week is “The Real AI—Accuracy & Integrity,” and that’s exactly what your professionalism provides. The work you do behind the scenes and in client-facing roles is invaluable.

OCEA will soon deliver an appreciation item to Court stewards in your workplaces so check in with them later this month. You can review a list of Court Stewards on the right side of this page and find your workplace leaders.
