CSA Boot Allowance Request Survey

Dear OCEA member,

We are in the middle of preparing a boot allowance request for the CSA classification. The request must include a safety justification and go through a safety assessment process prior to approval. Several of your co-workers have already written the safety justification. If the Sheriff’s Department ultimately determines the boots are necessary for safety, the boots will become required. The Department will also pay for the cost as outlined in the MOU.

We want to conduct a member survey to determine the level of workplace interest before we formally submit the request to the Sheriff’s Department. Please click here to complete and submit the survey.
