Free hot dogs at OCEA on Oct. 6!

Come to the OCEA hot dogger on Oct. 6 and meet your co-worker, OCEA Board member, and OCERS Trustee candidate Chris Prevatt.

Dear OCEA member,

Come and celebrate Autumn with your fellow OCEA members and enjoy a free hot dog lunch on Wednesday, October 6, 2021, at OCEA from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The OCEA grill masters will have the famous OCEA hot dog wagon fired up and ready to go. See the flyer below.

It’s also a great opportunity to meet Chris Prevatt – OCEA’s endorsed candidate for re-election to the OCERS Board of Retirement. Chris works for the Health Care Agency as a Program Supervisor, serves as an OCEA Steward, and is a valued member of the OCEA Board of Directors. Chris is our endorsed candidate because he will fight for all members to ensure we have a sustainable retirement. How do we know that? Because as an OCERS Board member since 2013, he has demonstrated that he ALWAYS looks out for the best interests of every general member, including you.

By now you should have received your ballot to vote in the 2021 OCERS general election. If you are eligible to vote and did not receive a ballot, contact the Registrar of Voters at (714) 567-7600. Remember, your ballot must be received by the Registrar by Nov. 2—not just postmarked—so give yourself plenty of time if you are mailing it in. You can also drop off your ballot here at OCEA and we'll make sure it gets to OCERS on time. 

Come by Wednesday, October 6th and enjoy free hot dogs cooked up by the grill masters of OCEA. It will be great to see you and a great opportunity to meet one of the strongest voices for your retirement security, Chris Prevatt!
