Tentative Agreement Approved by City Council!

Dear Garden Grove Employee,

We are happy to announce that the Garden Grove City Council voted unanimously to adopt the Tentative Agreements with the City reached by the League and GGCEA! Members of both the League and Association voted to ratify the Tentative Agreement earlier in the week, clearing the way for last night's Council action.

We want to thank every Garden Grove Employees League and Garden Grove City Employees Association member for helping guide this process. As you will remember, we began the negotiations process in February with “Negotiations 101” training. In the following months we sent out bargaining surveys, conducted research, assembled a team, and drafted proposals based on your input. After two months of negotiations, we successfully achieved contracts that recognize your value to the City and its residents.

Your first wage increases will be reflected on your July 28 paycheck! If you have any questions, please contact one of your bargaining team members or an OCEA Staff member.
