Got a Headache? Attend virtual UCI Seminar on Headaches and Migraines
Dear OCEA member,
We have heard from many of you that you miss our “members only” events previously held at OCEA Headquarters or at various work locations. These seminars on personal finance, health and recreational activities are designed to help you with both your personal and professional development.
We can’t hold those seminars in person because of the pandemic but we can bring you content produced especially for you.
UCI Health is pleased to bring you this very timely lecture on Headaches and Migraines. Family Medicine Physician Vanessa Wu, MD and Internal Medicine Physician Long-Co Nguyen, MD will discuss various types of headaches and their causes, along with treatment and prevention methods to help reduce their impact on your daily life. Especially helpful will be techniques for reducing stress triggers for headaches and new innovative treatments available for migraine headaches.
Dr. Wu’s residency training at UCLA’s David Geffen School of Medicine and Dr. Nguyen’s dual fellowships at UC San Francisco bring exceptional medical expertise to the UCI Health primary care team here in Orange County.
Click here to begin watching this video recorded exclusively for OCEA members. It’s about 28-minutes long. If you wish to reach one of these physicians their contact information is below. They are happy to do telemedicine or office appointments as appropriate.
Click here for contact information for Dr. Wu; and the link for Dr. Nguyen is: UCI Health — Tustin.
The pandemic may have closed our building, but nothing can stop our commitment to standing together with each of you in our union. We are OCEA strong!
In Solidarity,
Orange County Employees Association
