Video: How to receive new FREE OCEA benefits

Dear OCEA member,

Open enrollment is here and continues through September 30 with some new opportunities to protect you and your family at NO COST. Your open enrollment packet should be arriving in the mail if you haven’t already received it. Action is required to receive the new benefits (including a $5,000 life insurance policy) whether or not you are making changes to your supplemental benefits or are already an OCEA member.

Supplemental benefits and your new NO COST coverage are offered by OCEA’s Health & Welfare Trust, which is run by members for members. Click here to view a short video with Health & Welfare Trustee Liza Cooper Butler, a county employee, who will take you through the simple three-step process for getting the $5,000 life insurance policy and enhanced disability coverage available exclusively to OCEA members.

After viewing the video, or at any point in the process, you can go to our website at www.ocea.org/membershipapp for directions on how to submit your new membership application electronically–a required step to ensure you receive the new $5,000 life insurance policy. Remember, you need to complete the membership application even if you aren’t making any changes to your existing coverage.

There is no price tag on peace of mind and your coworkers serving as Health & Welfare Trustees are proud to stand together with you and offer these benefits that protect you and your family. We have your back.

In Solidarity,

Jennifer Beuthin
OCEA General Manager
