Look for your OCEA Open Enrollment packet in the mail!
Dear OCEA member,
This year, the OCEA Health & Welfare Trust open enrollment period is Sept. 1-30, 2021. Your open enrollment benefits enrollment guide is in the mail and you should receive it soon. Your benefits will remain the same through plan year Jan. 1-Dec. 31, 2022, unless you submit new open enrollment forms to OCEA during open enrollment.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, open enrollment will again be slightly different. For example, OCEA’s benefits staff will not be available to answer open enrollment questions in-person. If you have any open enrollment questions or need assistance with your OCEA Health & Welfare Trust benefits you can: (1) call OCEA at (714) 835-3355 and ask to speak with a benefits representative, or (2) email a benefits representative at benefits@ocea.org. Open enrollment may be different, but we're also making it easier and better! OCEA Benefits recorded a comprehensive video presentation that addresses Open Enrollment Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs). You can view the presentation here.
Important! Please don’t forget our OCEA Health Fair. While we will not be able to have our traditional in-person event under the OCEA building, we are making sure you receive all the vendor giveaways and prizes you are accustomed to. The Health Fair, sponsored by OCEA’s Health & Welfare Trust, kicks off September 8. See the distribution schedule below for OCEA insulated cooler bags loaded with swag. Last year, we handed out more than 8,000 cooler bags to OCEA members in our first virtual Health Fair.
