Make your Plan to Vote in the June 7 Primary Election!
Dear OCEA member,
As public servants and union members, we are not only entrusted with providing essential services to the community, but we must also be engaged residents of Orange County. Voting is how our democratic system functions. The people elected to office have a huge impact on our lives. ELECTIONS MATTER!
Currently, only 7% of registered voters in Orange County have cast their Primary Election ballot. PLEASE DO NOT WAIT UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE TO VOTE—you can mail in your ballot or drop it at a secure voter drop box location in your neighborhood.
If you want more information on how to cast your ballot, request a new ballot, or for further election guidance, contact the Orange County Registrar of Voters at www.ocvote.gov. If you live outside Orange County, please refer to the California Secretary of State for additional voter education information.
After careful analysis, the OCEA Board of Directors will sometimes weigh-in to support candidates who have demonstrated support for the values of working people and for initiatives that strengthen and improve the lives of OCEA members. Your co-workers and fellow OCEA members have vetted and endorsed the candidates listed in our 2022 OCEA Voter Guide.
In Solidarity,
Charles Barfield
OCEA General Manager
