Meeting Postponed for IHSS Summer Vacation Guidelines

Dear OCEA member,

The County postponed our meeting with SSA Management regarding the Summer Vacation Guidelines recently sent to IHSS workers to Thursday, May 11.

As you know from our previous email, we need more input from IHSS workers like yourselves. This postponement allows us more time to include the voices of you and your co-workers in this process. If you are interested in providing your questions or concerns to us in advance of the May 11 meeting, please email OCEA Labor Relations Representatives Charles Leon (cleon@ocea.org) or Kerensa Schupmann (kschupmann@ocea.org).

Thank you to those who already reached out to us about this issue. We look forward to meeting with the County Monday about this to provide the County your perspective on these guidelines.
