Negotiations Update: Oct. 13
OCEA member,
Yesterday your OCEA bargaining team met with OC Superior Court management for an all-day bargaining session. At that session, it was clear that the Court still does not understand how important wages are to OCEA members. During our exchanges, the Court gave OCEA the same unacceptable wage proposal that it put on the table on Sept. 25. It was an insult to your bargaining team, and after being presented with the same unacceptable proposal, your team left negotiations for the remainder of the day.
The OCEA bargaining team hears you. Enough is enough. We demand to be treated fairly!
It is clear that the CEO and management do not understand how important being treated fairly is to the membership. We need to send a message that we are united on a fair wage proposal that addresses the sacrifices that OCEA members have made.
