OC Sanitation District Negotiations Update: April 29, 2022
Dear OCEA member,
In preparation for upcoming negotiations, your OCEA Sanitation District Bargaining Team has met three times since March. We also received a financial presentation from the District in mid-April.
On April 26, we received the District’s initial proposal. After considering your responses to the member workplace survey and the District’s presentation—as well as information told to our workplace stewards—we are proud to report we have a comprehensive bargaining proposal that reflects your collective interests.
We have scheduled a bargaining session on May 11 with the District and your OCSD Negotiations Team:

Our next steps are to work with the District to set ground rules for negotiations, and to exchange our proposals.
