OCEA Health & Welfare Benefits Open Enrollment: Sept. 6-20, 2024

OCEA HEALTH & WELFARE ADMINISTERED BENEFITS OPEN ENROLLMENT IS SEPT. 6-20, 2024. Plan changes are scheduled to be effective Jan. 1, 2025.

The Enrollment Guide packet has a new look and is now referred to as the Health & Welfare Enrollment Guide magazine! OCEA has mailed the Enrollment Guide, and you should receive your copy within the next few days. The Enrollment Guide will be posted online September 6-20, 2024, on the OCEA website here (starting Friday, Sept. 6), and all Enrollment Forms will also be available on Docusign.

Open enrollment is a great time to review benefit choices for you and your family and to evaluate which plan(s) best serve your needs. During open enrollment you may:

  • Change dental plans (for example, change from a Delta Dental PPO plan to a DeltaCare USA DHMO plan)
  • Add or drop dependents from the HEALTH & WELFARE dental plans

OCEA members may enroll, or make changes—including adding or dropping dependents—to the following insurance plans:

  • Either the Upgraded PPO Plan A+ OR the Upgraded DeltaCare USA CAM49 DHMO plan
  • Vision Plan (VSP)
  • Accident Insurance
  • Critical Illness
  • Hospital Indemnity
  • Supplemental Disability Plan, in most cases without evidence of insurability
