OC Sanitation: Voting Results are in!

OCEA member,

I would like to re-introduce myself to you all. I am Danielle Chau and I am taking over as your main Labor Representative for the OC Sanitation District. I have worked on multiple rounds of negotiations with your OC San Bargaining Team and look forward to working with you all again.

Member voting concluded on the tentative agreement reached between your bargaining team and OC San management, and you and your co-workers voted to ratify the agreement!

​The final step before implementation will be adoption by the OC Sanitation District JPA Board of Directors. The Board is scheduled to vote ​to adopt the ratified agreement on July 27.

Once adopted by the Board, your initial 4.5% ​general wage increase will be reflected the first pay period in July and other financial enhancements, including a $1,500 one-time lump sum payment and a $160/month Deferred Comp contribution also become effective that pay period.

We know other issues important to members still need to be addressed and you can be part of that process. OCEA is you and your co-workers standing together ​every day to have a say in your ​workplace.
