OCERS Election! Ballots due Nov. 2
Dear OCERS members,
I need your vote and I want to make sure your vote counts! Your OCERS ballot must be received—not postmarked—by the Registrar of Voters office by 9 a.m. November 2. Getting your vote AND getting your ballot in on time will help me to continue fighting for your retirement security at OCERS.
If you still have your ballot, don’t put in the mail because it may not arrive in time. You can drop it off at the Registrar’s office located at 1300 S. Grand Avenue, Santa Ana. You can also drop your ballot off at OCEA, 830 N. Ross Street, Santa Ana before 5 p.m. Monday, November 1.
It has been my pleasure to serve as your OCERS representative since 2013. During that time, I have focused much of my energy on ensuring that OCERS' operations are efficient and effective. I am endorsed by OCEA, AFSCME, and the Orange County Labor Federation.
Experience matters on the OCERS Board of Trustees. I hope to be able to continue my service to you as your Trustee so that you can rest assured that your retirement future is safe with OCERS.
I also hope to retire one day from my job as a Health Care Agency Program Supervisor. I am committed to making sure the retirement benefit we have contributed to throughout our time in public service is there for all of us.
In Solidarity,
Chris Prevatt
OCERS Trustee,
OCEA 2nd Vice President
