OCFA Tentative Agreement Approved

Dear OCEA member,

OCEA members at the Orange County Fire Authority have overwhelmingly approved the Tentative Agreement. It will next go to the JPA Board for approval on Thursday, April 27. We will provide more information about effective dates for wage increases once the MOU is approved.

As a reminder, highlights of the MOU include:

Term: 2021-April 26, 2027
Wage Increases: 4.5% (May 5, 2023) | 3.5% (May 3, 2024) | 2.75% (May 2, 2025) | 2.54% (May 1, 2026)

It was your solidarity and your action that helped to move these negotiations forward over time. And especially to those who spoke at public meetings and took their time to travel across Orange County to speak with numerous City Councils—you made change for all members in a big way.
