On Black Friday - Check your paycheck

Dear OCEA Member,

We want to remind you of some good news that will be reflected in your paycheck this month. On November 5, 2021, a negotiated 2% pay increase became effective. You will see this pay increase on your November 26, 2021, paycheck.

The wage increase negotiated by your Court bargaining team also includes a boost in your take-home pay you received last summer when the employee contribution to the reverse-pick up portion of your retirement was reduced by 1%.

A total 3% pay increase this year is a positive development. However, we cannot consider such a modest increase to be fair in light of the sacrifices made by Court workers prior to and during this historic pandemic. The MOU with the Courts expires October 27, 2022.

Standing together, we will continue to fight for the fair and equitable compensation and benefits you and your families deserve.
