Open Enrollment Ends Sept. 20, 2024 for OCEA Benefits

Dear OCEA member,

OCEA HEALTH & WELFARE ADMINISTERED BENEFITS OPEN ENROLLMENT ENDS THIS FRIDAY, SEPT. 20, 2024. Plan changes are scheduled to be effective Jan. 1, 2025.

You can find the Enrollment Guide on the OCEA website here. All Enrollment Forms are available on Docusign.

If you have any questions, please email benefits@ocea.org or call (714) 835-3355. Call times and email reponses may be delayed due to the high volume of open enrollment related communications.

AS A REMINDER, OPEN ENROLLMENT IS A GREAT TIME TO REVIEW BENEFIT CHOICES for you and your family and to evaluate which plan(s) best serve your needs. During open enrollment you may:

  • Change dental plans (for example, change from a Delta Dental PPO plan to a DeltaCare USA DHMO plan)
  • Add or drop dependents from the HEALTH & WELFARE dental plans

OCEA members may enroll, or make changes—including adding or dropping dependents—to the following insurance plans:

  • Either the Upgraded PPO Plan A+ OR the Upgraded DeltaCare USA CAM49 DHMO plan
  • Vision Plan (VSP)
  • Accident Insurance
  • Critical Illness
  • Hospital Indemnity
  • Supplemental Disability Plan, in most cases without evidence of insurability
REMEMBER, IT IS NOT NECESARY TO COMPLETE ANY ENROLLMENT FORMS IF YOU ARE HAPPY WITH YOUR EXISTING PLANS AND DO NOT WISH TO MAKE ANY CHANGES.
