Orangewood Safety: Join OCEA for On-Site Office Hours Wed., Oct. 30

Dear OCEA member,

Please join OCEA Labor Representatives on-site from 1 to 3 p.m. and 9 to 11 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2024. We’ll be there to discuss multiple Orangewood concerns including:

• Staff Safety
• Night Shift Differential Pay*
• Other Orangewood questions and concerns you may have 

The event will be office hours-style, and you are welcome to join us any time that works for you during the above time slots. Pizza will be served for members. 

*If you are an employee who continues to have issues with night shift differential pay, please bring your records—including the dates worked and payroll times you are missing—to the meeting. We are working with County HR to address this issue.

Additionally, we have developed a survey to elicit member input regarding the current safety level at Orangewood. This survey can be submitted anonymously and can be completed here.
