PCEA: Small Dues Increase

Dear PCEA member,

In your upcoming paycheck you will see a small increase on the dues amount paid to OCEA. The amount will go from $9.62 per pay period to $11.55. This represents a nominal increase of $1.93 per pay period. Like every other labor organization, OCEA must responsibly deal with the ever-increasing cost of providing representation. Nevertheless, your OCEA dues have not increased in 30 years—the last time dues increased was in 1992! OCEA prides itself in providing high quality services at a very low cost.

Every member will still pay one of the lowest dues amounts of any union member in California.

In the coming months we will begin preparations for next year's negotiations. The first step is to build up the PCEA Board of Directors. If you are interested in joining the PCEA Board, please reach out to our OCEA rep Veronica Rodarte at vrodarte@ocea.org for more information.
