SAMA Negotiations: Tentative Agreement Approved

Dear SAMA member,

SAMA members have voted to overwhelmingly ratify the Tentative Agreement for a new 3-year Memorandum of Understanding with the City. SAMA and OCEA would like to thank all members who brought their ideas and energy to these negotiations, as they informed our strategy and proposals, and ultimately helped to ensure this ratification.

We are waiting to hear more information from the City about when the MOU will be up for approval by the City Council and when the initial wage increase will go into effect. Stay tuned for more.
