Seminar: Super Foods and the Brain with Nasira Burkholder-Cooley
Dear OCEA member,
Time for another installment in our ongoing “members only” series that were previously held at OCEA Headquarters or at various work locations but are now virtual. We can’t hold those seminars in person because of the pandemic but we can bring you content produced especially for you.
Join Ms. Nasira Burkholder-Cooley as she unlocks the secrets of food components that have protective benefits for better health.
You can learn about vitamins and phytochemicals that fight damage to nerve cells and inhibit plaque that builds up between nerve cells. The video runs for about 22-minutes. Click the play button above to view the program.
Ms. Burkholder-Cooley is a registered dietitian who believes that nutrition is a key component of overall health, contributing to physical, intellectual, and spiritual well-being. She holds a Master of Public Health degree from UCLA and graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Arizona with a BS in nutritional sciences.
The pandemic may have closed our building, but nothing can stop our commitment to standing together with each of you in our union. We are OCEA strong!
In Solidarity,
Orange County Employees Association
