Superior Court Contract Ratified

Dear OCEA member,

OCEA members in the Superior Court have voted by an overwhelming majority to ratify the tentative agreement your bargaining team fought for during two months of negotiations. We made wage enhancements our top priority. To that end, your first increase (6%) will be effective Nov. 4, 2022, and you will see that reflected in your paycheck on Nov. 23. A 3% wage increase will be effective Nov. 3, 2023; and a 2% wage increase will be effective Nov. 1, 2024. These base-building increases were heavily weighted toward the front of the contract to put more money in your pocket as immediately as possible.

There are NO takeaways. The agreement also provides improved retirement security for workers hired on or after Jan. 1, 2013 (PEPRA eligible employees). You can view the full terms of the agreement below.

Their willingness to participate in the process and the expertise they brought to the table are exemplary of why it's so important to participate in your union.
