VOTING ENDS TODAY: 1 P.M. Deadline to Vote on County Tentative Agreement
Dear OCEA member,
TODAY IS YOUR LAST CHANCE TO VOTE ON YOUR NEXT MOU. Voting ends at 1 p.m.
After hard-fought negotiations, your OCEA negotiations team has reached a tentative agreement with the County. This three-year agreement provides you, every other OCEA-represented worker, and your families the fair wage increases you deserve: 4.75% effective the first full pay period after adoption by the Board of Supervisors, 4.25% effective June 28, 2024, and 4.0% effective June 27, 2025—a total of 13% over three years!
Special OCEA member meetings to discuss the specifics of the tentative agreement were held on Monday, June 19, at OCEA. If were unable to attend, a recording is available here. OCEA negotiations team members are also available until voting closes to answer specific questions via telephone or in-person at OCEA!
A summary of the agreement can be viewed below.
The OCEA Board of Directors and your negotiations team unanimously recommend a YES vote on the tentative agreement!
Voting on the tentative agreement will occur online and you can vote from your work computer. You can vote by clicking here.
Voting is live now and will continue until 1 p.m. Thursday, June 22. If you prefer to cast your ballot in person, you may do so 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday at OCEA, 830 N. Ross St., in Santa Ana.
In Solidarity,
