We hope you had a HAPPY DOCTOR’S DAY on Saturday! This celebration dates back to 1933 (just slightly before OCEA was established in 1937!) and was created to recognize the unwavering commitment, dedication and skill of physicians. To our OCEA members who are County physicians, we extend our heartfelt gratitude even more, for your tireless dedication and invaluable contributions to our community. You choose to serve the residents of Orange County, in the clinics and correctional facilities—often in difficult working conditions for marginalized populations who need your help the most. To be a doctor is to dedicate yourself to the lives of others long before you begin to practice your profession.
