YLEA Negotiations Update: Nov. 9, 2022

Dear YLEA member,

Given the current economic climate and ongoing inflation, your YLEA Board of Directors plans to submit a request to the City of Yorba Linda to reopen our contract limited solely to the issue of wages. Our new council will be seated at the Dec. 6 City Council Meeting, and our request will be made shortly thereafter.

Currently, our contract term is from 10/1/21 to 6/30/24 and includes the following compensation:

• 10/1/21: Received 2% Increase and a 4% One-Time Lump Sum
• 7/1/22: Received 2%
• 7/1/23: Will Receive 2%
