Yorba Linda Negotiations Update: May 30, 2024

Dear OCEA members,

As you may know from our recent communication, your OCEA bargaining team is working diligently to secure the best contract possible for all OCEA members. To that end, we have planned an event to demonstrate our collective unity and determination.

Date: Tuesday, June 4
Time: 4:30-5:30 p.m.
Location: City Hall Parking Lot

This event is a crucial opportunity for us to come together as a united force, to send a powerful message to the individuals ultimately responsible for authorizing and approving our contract: our City Council members.

The Council will meet in closed session on Tuesday to discuss our counter proposal and their response. Your presence at City Hall will ensure the City Council members see us as they drive in for the meeting and that we are in the forefront of their minds when they make critical decisions that will significantly impact us and our families.

Please mark your calendars and make every effort to attend this event. Come hang out, meet your bargaining team members, and enjoy some pizza with us. Most importantly, help demonstrate solidarity and strength in our pursuit of a fair and favorable contract.
